What happened to the comatose patients from the end of Season 1

They were all sitting in chairs in Fiina Clarke’s house. Then the pilot kidnapped Fiona and they 828’d in the sky. But was anyone still taking care of the passengers? The Bulgarian guy and the others.

The reason you won't find an answer is because this show is all over the place and clearly has difficulty setting the plot.
