Interplay between the former Stargate universe and earlier modern history. Then one starting out scene recognizable from the original movie, and characters with similar background using the Egyptian setting. The first part of the movie does explain this gap in the discovery of the Stargate and what happened before it was sealed away,, although less serious of allied military response.
shareI have zero connection to the Stargate universe beyond having this and the 90s film. I never watched any of the TV shows.
But I thought this was fairly interesting for a low-budget web series. I have no idea how much money they put into it--it didn't look like much--but I watched the whole thing and didn't hate it.
I guess the total lack of threads on this board until you just posted yours says something about how much of a splash it made.
