[Spoilers] Episode 4 - Question about Jakob

Is "Jakob" still actually Danny from episode 2 ("Transpose")?

His deep voice, taller posture and general attitude indicate he might be Danny, but just wondering. Did we lose Jakob's character for good? Is Jakob essentially in that robot that was spying on Cole in episode 4? (Also like the robot at the end of episode 2.)

If it is Danny in Jakob's body still, then he seems to be assimilating into his new life OK. What do you think?

In case you didn’t or anyone else is interested and doesn’t mind being spoiled:

Yes it’s still Danny, and he eventually comes clean with Jakob’s parents and Cole (the younger brother).

Cole finds Jakob in the robot and confirms that Jakob holds no bitterness towards Danny.

But the process never gets reversed

Yes, the switch persists until late in the series when the robot sacrifices himself defending his human brother.
