So this whole thing is about Wanda grieving and creating a false reality for herself. And here i thought there actually was going to be mystery to this show. And frankly the sitcom parts get pretty cringey.

My guess is someone is planning to invade Earth, and knows Wanda is one of the few beings with the power to stop them. So they take advantage of her grief over losing Vision to put her in a dream world, and she is keeping everyone out since it is helping her cope. She even tells Vision she can't run everyone's life in the town all day.
