I hear you don't need to use live people anymore in movies. So I think that using the latest CGI techniques, we could once again have Rod Serling (or at least a very life-like simulation) host it. You know after I posted this I thought of something. Why didn't they (the people at IMDb who were in charge of the message boards) just find some other group/company who would be willing to take over the care and feeding of the message boards?? Then, when you go to the bottom of the page for any film or TV series, instead of a link to the IMDb message boards, there would be a link to an external site that would handle those boards, such as this site. The MovieChat people could have made an agreement with the IMDb people that they would take over handling of the message boards. What would be the problem with that? Then the IMDb people could have just given all the message boards database stuff and perhaps the coding to handle it and this outer agency could take it and set it up just like IMDb did. And you could even have it like before, when you click on "The Twilight Zone" in the big bold letters at the top of the message boards, it would link back to the original IMDb web site. Then it would be almost exactly the same, but it would be out of the hands of IMDb. I don't understand why something like that couldn't have been done.
