Quantum, mostly because of the editing, the camerawork, there's legit no plot, and a very very weak villain. Spectre has some flaws, like some of its writing, the musical score, and the unmemorable action sequences, but it's a more focused film and actually has a lot more emotional weight to it than people give it credit for. It's a classic era Bond film and I was okay with that, especially since the ending of Skyfall moved us back into that classic era anyways The way I've always looked at it, is that Silva was still doing his own thing, but received the funding needed to carry out his plan from SPECTRE. But what doesn't help that argument is the fact Oberhauser/Blofeld takes credit for the death of M and that whole plan. I'm mostly with ya on this. More mixed to positive on the finale, but people have to keep in mind that endings are always the hardest part of a Tv show or franchise. It's possible too that they wanted to bring more characters back for the finale but couldn't because of the pandemic restrictions. But I agree on Sam's wig. It was hilarious. Couldn't stop laughing. The first 5 seasons were the show's pinnacle. Season 6 and 7 I enjoyed but specially with season 6 you could kinda tell they didn't know what to do, since beating the Devil was supposed to be the last big thing and the show was supposed to end at Season 5. Season 7 is one of the more underrated seasons in my opinion. it strips away a lot of the elements we have come to know and love yet still retains its core. The Jeremy Carver seasons: 8, 9, especially 10, and 11 aren't that good. And Season 10 is atrocious. I seriously to this day still not believe Season 10 got rid of the show's best plot line in YEARS within the first 3 episodes. It gets better in the second half of 11 but it doesn't make up for a stale first half. 12 renewed my interest in the show, 13 was solid, 14 was really good, and 15 was a nice little throwback season while still being its own thing. Mixed feelings on the finale but endings are hard. I've learned to accept that when it comes to endings for beloved franchises and shows, you get what you get and you have to move on. No use crying over spilled milk. This is also WGTC, and they report false details all the time. I am for one excited about Ryan Johnson getting to do his trilogy though. Yeah, but it's nice change of pace. Shaken and stirring things up every once in awhile aint a bad thing. I actually really embrace the more serialized style they're going with for Craig's run. I do eventually want them to go back to a standalone, anthology type format but the idea of Quantum being a direct sequel to Casino Royale proved to me that this was gonna different kind of era for Bond. I'm actually for it if its well executed. I think it would be a twist that would definitely turn a lot of Bond fans off, but I'm all for coming up with something new for a franchise that's 58 years old now. I think it would also play into what the Craig run of Bond films has been doing by showing more of Bond's humanity. It seems like this is the way to end his run, so I'm down for it. As long as that "rumored" 5 year old child aint a clone of Madeleine made by Safin because he's "obsessed with her." NOW THAT'S where I would draw the line. Or Bond dying, which is also rumored. But Bond having a kid ain't so bad IMO. Sure, I get it, he's a womanizer, but if Tracy had remained alive or if Bond married Vesper and she was alive I think one could assume they would have kids. So as long as it fits with what Fukunaga is going for, then by all means, do it. Keep in mind though that even though a call sheet has leaked on eBay, Cary Fukunaga did say he filmed 3 different endings for this movie so that call sheet could reveal one of those endings and may not even be used. I'm taking everything that has been leaked so far with a grain of salt until I actually see the movie. It's too expensive to put on streaming, and there's a higher risk of losing more money on streaming than there is if it's released in theaters. It's getting released to theaters no matter what. They've already stated that. TreeSherman if this movie makes bank I will laugh in your face Dude, just go away. You clearly don’t care but there’s those of us that do. Stop trying to “cancel” something you don’t like. View all replies >
