how about a drinking game? everytime the word "neat" appears in the movie, drink a bottle of beer. i said "interesting", not "useful". and as you can see, since my post from 6 months ago, the rt scores have changed anyway. ah yes, it is indeed from inland empire. case closed ;) it was said in the movie that there has been a blackout, hence no "friggin' lights"... you should make a documentary on it. no way. i can't imagine that you can just off someone's face with a simple knife and wear it like a mask. it seems this movie is a prime example of "fridge logic": https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/FridgeLogic i take it that you're a homophobe yourself, if you can't stand the idea of an unlikable character being portrayed as a homophobe in a movie. i think most zombie/survial movies have little to zero re-watch value. ditto well, it is basically a rip-off of a good black mirror: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3973198/ yup, pretty much a tamed down remake (less suspense, less graphic violence), the ending differs from the original. not worth watching really. to me it seemed like bad writing, just giving the characters some stupid cliché dialogue without being aware of the context of their own story. same goes for the dance scene where artemis says "oldschool!" when a disco song is playing, considering it's the frickin' year 2045. everything is oldschool, even a song from 2025 would be "oldschool" in 2045! that's only the limited theatrical domestic screening income, after the flick has been on VOD for a month and made 1-2 million dollars grosses in foreign markets. https://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=billionaireboysclub.htm yeah, still one of my alltime favorites. 1. chronicle 2. cannibal holocaust 3. creep 4. [rec] 5. cloverfield honorable mentions: look (2007) project x noroi august underground the poughkeepsie tapes the sacrament the last horror movie the visit blair witch / blair witch project - famous spanish actresses have german names - you can resurrect dead women by raping their corpse i remember seeing the 2007 movie "sympathy" before and alice creed almost appeared like a rip-off. maybe you should check this one out: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1017461 it was explained in the movie the loopers knew about that they will get killed eventually. it was part of their contract. so it's not an act of revenge: "When we sign up for this job, taking out the future's garbage, we also agree to a very specific proviso. Time travel in the future is so illegal, that when our employers want to close our contracts, they'll also want to erase any trace of their relationship with us ever existing." so even before the rainmaker took over and started to close all loops as an act of revenge (and hence, destroying the criminal organizations), closing loops was common practice among the mob. and even if it was the rainmaker's revenge, it would have been more effective to send them to other loopers who wouldn't hesitate killing a strange person. by sending them to their own counterparts, the rainmaker gives the loopers a chance to survive, which wouldn't be in his interest, if he seeks revenge. so that's illogical. yes, now we're back to my initial question.
