This one is my favorite. "No one in the history of torture's been tortured with torture like the torture you'll be tortured with." I've always wondered how he kept a straight face saying this. Or the people sitting around the table. If he did it in one take I would be very surprised. I hope they can find another network. I was starting to like it. I'm thinking Michaela panicked because the guy was one of the kidnappers. She doesn't know the backstory of how Angelina is connected to the man. She just needs to get him into jail and capture the other two. I'm confused on the calling she had. She was terrorized by a threatening winged menace. I can see he connected with her when he found the picture, met her and put two and two together. But they were young, so who or what is the threat. Hopefully we will get the full answer as I don't think we have yet. They also will skip an episode. What is really crazy is when TNT is doing a basketball game in the afternoon they will show probably 3 episodes then pickup with the 4th onward around 4am. Like I'm going to get up that early to watch. Do remember one time they did a marathon of specific type of episodes as a tribute but that was a while back. Yes I did. Thought it ran a bit slow but usually 1st episodes are like that because they're trying to set up the background. The emotional scene where he's talking about his wife's killing was good. I'll keep on watching. I don't think he did leave. He told the guys that he would be everywhere but no one would be able to see him. The part I liked was when he said he wouldn't be hands on and wouldn't write himself into the story the way Chuck did. So He''s here we just have to believe. I love it when he started to walk away and faded away. Noticed that he was wearing a white jacket and not the tan one he was wearing at the beginning of the episode. I'm going to rewatch and see if it changed when he was taking the power from Chuck or before that. Had to say it. :) Here's my thoughts. As for Dean knowing when Sam would appear I don't think so. He knew eventually they would see other but as to Dean knowing when and where I don't think so. Bobby had said that Sam would be there but since time was different there wasn't any way of knowing. After Dean got out of the car and was looking at the view from the bridge he heard something behind him. Then gave that smile. I think it was Sam who found Dean and not the other way around. I would have loved to had seen Miracle there also. Also it was a great place for the whole Supernatural team to wave goodbye. A couple of notes to add. When Sam was playing ball with his son the woman in the background looked like Eileen. Not sure why they didn't show a closer look but it was clear he didn't go back to the bunker. Was glad as I wanted them together. Bobby said that Jack with the help of Cas rearranged heaven. Did that mean that Cas got out of the Empty and is now back to work in Heaven? Take it on faith. :) Sorry couldn't resist. I was happy with the ending. And yes I cried. Had a feeling Dean was going to be the first to go and was happy they got to say goodbye to each other. Am not sure that Sam truly left the business as his grown up son had the TAT on his arm. It was either just protecting him for any reprisals or he trained his son to be a hunter. No I don't agree it was the same as Lost. I watched that show and the ending didn't make any sense as it left to many unanswered questions. Dean and Sam's did. Was kind of hoping to see other souls that would greet Dean but that might not have been able to happen either because of Covid or the availability of the actors. Was hoping they would show someone taking over the bunker which could have foretold a movie or mini series but they just had Sam turn off the lights. So think it was actually a final. The one surprise I actually loved was the dog and it's one floppy ear. Loved it when Dean was washing the dishes he had the dog lick one of the plates. I did tape it but not sure I'll be able to watch it. So yes I'm happy with the ending. Well I've been have computer problems "again" but hopefully all is ok. Yes I think they were right in letting Chuck live because definitely what goes around comes around. Am pretty sure Jack will kind of keep an eye on him. At least I hope so. The reason I say that is Chuck wrote the tablets and probably remembers some or all the spells. Since he is without powers he will be limited and he's the master manipulator. I'm hoping where they left him is miles away from any kind of civilization and that's where he dies. I loved the last scene where we saw the names cared into the table. Did have one thought that since Jack is now in control could he give the ok to have Kevin be able to go to heaven?? Loved seeing all the past and present characters. I know after watching tonight's episode I used up a box of Kleenex. So I'm going to get stocked up if tonight is an example of what's left to come. I'm not going to give away what happened but be prepared. The teaser you posted wasn't really helpful to make any guesses. I really liked this episode. Couldn't believe Dean when he told Sam that Jack wasn't family. Dean is still hurting about Mary and still blames Jack. When Jack said that's ok it looked like Dean may have changed his mine a bit but not much. Chuck almost got his wish that one of the brothers would kill the other. When Dean pointed his gun at Sam I thought wow this is it. Was quite a revelation from the Empty (Meg) that Billie wants to take over. But I think I can see why. She's fed up with the Chuck antics and wants it back to "normal". Not sure I understand why Amara merged with Chuck as she told him he was a master manipulator but apparently he said enough to make her change her mind. Still don't understand what happened there. The ending did leave me wondering what's going to happen. Chuck disappeared just as Jack was getting ready to "explode". So that's going to be the next episode. I thought it was interesting they went back in time and it took me a bit to get the puzzle pieced together. When young Dean found the bodies his first action was to protect Caitlin and Sam from seeing them. Older Dean said that younger Dean then called the police about the bodies as he didn't want to frightened them. They thought they had killed the monster and very likely it would have never returned if older Travis hadn't repaired the ring. Then he went back to the hotel room to face his fears and it appeared demanding the ring back. Felt bad that Travis was then killed. Not sure why it returned as dead Travis vision to Dean unless it was trying to guilt Dean into killing himself which per the vision he was about to do. Sam stopped it in time. I did tape it and will look again to see if dead Travis was wearing the ring or still had it hanging around his neck. Since they thought they had killed it in their younger selves why would they wonder about the ring. It wasn't until older Sam started researching that they discovered it was the ring that was the force behind the monster. As to taking Caitlin maybe it was keeping the killing all in the family before it could move to the next victim. I don't remember if the missing photos said the children were related. I was wondering why Billie said this was a far as she could go. But since she can only reap souls apparently she has to be on the sideline while the "battle" goes down. As for Dean not telling Sam it's the same ole pattern between the guys. They don't tell the other about anything especially Dean and that has always bothered me. When Billie said to fix it I figured it was something according to the book that the guys have to do together. If Sam didn't know about Jack he might have done something to prevent Jack from killing Chuck. At least that's how I read the scene. Wow I haven't written this much in a long time. Hope it wasn't too rambling. You're right. I'd forgotten about Alleycat. She really got into the discussions and had everyone involved. I miss her too. More likely just a train passing through. I grew up in a small town and was just 3 blocks away from train tracks. We had trains pass though several times day and night. It got to a point where we got so used to it that we didn't hear them. And of course I have several pennies that I placed on the track that were flattened by the wheels. My town was very lucky that we didn't have any accidents, although I think there were a few near misses when someone didn't want to wait and drove across the tracks just before the train arrived. We didn't have crossing guards until about 10 years ago. Then they were installed. So I think it's just background noise like a car horn honking or a dog barking. I really thought it was going to be the Pastor behind the murders and cruelty. But have learned with this show there's a lot of misdirection. Was glad Dean got through Amara and hopefully she's going to help even thought it may mean she will be killed. Well Cas is going out on his own again without telling Dean or Sam what he's doing. When he does this it generally turns out making things more complicated. Becoming God, believing Metatron, saying yes to Lucifer and most recently leaving the bunker to find a way to save Jack to name a few. I did enjoy this episode. The conversation between Jack and Cas was a bit heart rending. Realizing that Jack will be sacrificed to get rid of Chuck. Have another question. Not sure if I missed it but before Mrs Butters left she said the bunker would go back into standby mode. Are they able to "unstandby" it? It would come handy in their battle with Chuck. I liked it. But I've always like their quirky episodes. At first I thought it was about time they had someone to take care of them and loved the scenes where they rushed out to kill monsters and Mrs. Butters handed them lunch bags as if they were catching a school bus. The scene where Jack was wearing rumpled pajamas and Dean in a night shirt and cap was funny. I wish she could have stayed and helped them with their ultimate goal. Two areas that cleared up some of my questions are, what the telescope did and that Billie had told them that Amara had to be killed along with Chuck. Also who is/was Mr. Butters??? Sorry I forgot you were in the UK. Actually I thought you were here in the US. If you ever get a chance to visit you have a standing invite to stay with me. Then we can really discuss the show. :) I'm drawing a blank on Caitlin. Can't believe we'll be seeing them this week. I'm wondering how they continue the story line where Jack got his soul back and is asking them for forgiveness. The next episode looks like it's going to be a fun one. The preview pictures shows Dean in a nightshirt and cap. Love how he likes to make fun of himself.
