It's just a screw-up in the writing, you're over-thinking it, just go with it. Nice catch though. Since they've had the whole show planned from the start, I'm surprised they weren't a bit more consistent.
That surprised me too.
At first, I assumed it was a straight bar, and was thinking no one could believe Norman in a wig is actually a woman. But once it was revealed to be a gay bar, that made more sense. There, guys would be likelier to just figure drag is Norman's "thing" and go along with it without thinking about it too much.
Agreed. Not stellar, a little wooden at times, but not terrible.

I am. Liking it here mostly. There's not much traffic in general, but I think it'll pick up in time. Seems like fewer trolls. Wish I could merge my new account here with my old. Like the site overall, though I don't really care for how the threads read. But it was the best of the alternatives after imdb shut their boards down. Saw a few other sites that seemed cool, but would be devoted entirely to one show, and I didn't feel like messing with that.
Agreed. Sounds like it being about the election wasn't for real though. My reaction was "Who wants to relive that for ten episodes a year later?"
Wonder why. I didn't watch it, but from what I could tell, the ratings and reviews were both decent enough, at least not so terrible as to think two episodes would be it.
