I have a friend who I refer to as Kramer. He leaves every door he goes through wide open, including your front door. He comes to stay and will use an entire toilet roll (your last one) in about 4 hours. The bathroom in his house contains a huge pile of toilet rolls as he gets through so much. Nobody, including him, knows how or why. Every time he stays, he will use your bathroom in the middle of the night and not turn the light off so the light and extractor fan will wake you up (remember what I said about doors). He buys takeaways (usually the hottest vindaloo) and you'll be finding bits of poppadoms in strange place for weeks afterwards. He'll wash his face in your kitchen sink and there'll be water dripping off the ceiling, walls and cupboards, and a large puddle on the floor. He believes in various conspiracy theories and once offered to cure something by "laying on hands" as it "ran in his family". He lives his life how he wants though, has boundless energy and drive, a wide range of friends from all walks of life, and can confidently hold a conversation with anyone even if 20% of what he says is utter nonsense. Unlike Kramer, however, he has a house, family and works hard. Sounds like Trump supporters. Too subtle for some people. Good stuff. Well said. SIL had originality and wit. SPR was a decent war film so well done for coming 2nd. No sorry. I'm in the UK. Haha I agree. She has zero redeeming qualities. Yet you are so obsessed with it you can't stop posting the same tedious comments. Mplo, you stink of failure. You hate a film you've never seen. That tells me a lot about you. You're such trash you make Tonya Harding look like a princess. Well said Alfa. Every time a SPR fanboy cries about the Oscars, joy leaps in my heart. I thought this too. I guess she was just being shellfish. SIL too clever for retarded yanks. Shakespeare in Love was a deserved winner. Dumb americans are far too stupid to appreciate it. Argo is worse. This can't be said enough - Shakespeare in Love is head and shoulders a better film than SPR. It's not even a close call. SPR is just another war film >YAWN< Agreed! SPR is a good war film but no more. I'm a big fan of Spielberg and Hanks. SIL, however, is a work of genius and originality. I assume people who are miffed about the Oscars are either very blinkered patriotic yanks or too stupid to understand the many layers and nuances in SIL. Yep. Utter rubbish. I've stopped watching. Poor writing, tedious characters, weak storylines. Despite its name, Star Trek it aint. I think it's a lot worse. The Orville is better than this cr@p. I'm finding STD tedious and empty. There's no warmth or likeability about any of the characters. An answer to my question. I see, thanks. I was probably projecting how I'd feel about waking up next to Meg Ryan in the 80s. I liked this episode more than the crap which preceded it.
