Interesting. I rather enjoyed Elektra in this series which was a surprise because she's typically not a favorite of mine. Thought she and Matt had great chemistry, though I still am rooting for Matt & Nurse Claire. I am trying really hard to get on board with Matt and Karen as that is where they are headed. However, it's been...difficult.
I love that she is the common thread throughout all four series and that she seems to be some sort of troubled vigilante/superhero magnet. Don't really see a problem with writing her in.

He would not have been my first choice either. I don't pretend to know anything about martial arts but his form was glaring, especially as compared to the other actors. I've only read a few of the comics, but the writing for this Danny Rand was not what I expected. I'm not sure I liked it. Granted, that isn't Finn's fault.
Yeah, I was actually looking forward to Danny and Misty before I saw the series. However, the way he and Colleen are written, it's pretty clear they are written as the root for couple. I don't see Misty being able to rival that. Thankfully, Danny and Colleen were appealing in their own right so I don't mind. But it would have been really nice to have seen Danny and Misty paired together.
