The creature can only prey on people who are depressed and/or grieving, and Sadie's b*tch friends look like the type to laugh while torturing small animals. Agreed. Father is a jerk and both daughters are dirt stupid. They don't stick together, they don't run away from danger, they don't turn on the lights, and they don't immediately scream for help when attacked. When the little girl was playing video games, IN THE DARK, and didn't scream for her dad or her sister, I finally lost my empathy for them and I started cheering and laughing for the monster to get them all. Agree. Predator 2 had too many campy elements in it. Prey was as intense and suspenseful as the first movie. I'd rate this second best. It just feels more intense and serious than either Predator 2 or Predators. I think Predator is better, but I also think Prey is the second best movie in the series, being superior to any of the other sequels. Predator 2 & Predators were a little too campy in tone for me. I didn't feel they were as serious in tone as the original. But in Prey, I got the same intense feeling of threat & suspense as I did when watching the original, so kudos to the people who made the movie. If you watch the beginning of the end credits, the ones where primitive paintings are in the background, you'll see that the very last primitive painting shows ships descending out of the sky towards the native american village. What I'm guessing is that the other Predators came to reclaim their fallen comrade's head and to make sure none of their tech remained in human hands. I don't think they'd wipe out the tribe. Rather I think they'd want to honor the one who killed their comrade as a great hunter. My guess is that she gave the pistol to them in some sort of ceremony honoring her, or they requested something of hers to take back to their home planet and she gave them the pistol. You're wrong. The History Channel and Giorgio Tsoukalos says differently. I believe it was aliens & Bigfoot working together. Because I am a highly-educated historian, having watched the History Channel for decades, and thus I know more about the supposed supernatural than you common folk. We are all really alien/human hybrids and the "supernatural" is really just the result of alien manipulation & experimentation with Bigfoot helping our secret alien overlords. Immaculate conception. It's a miracle!! Deleted scenes on the DVD reveal what happened: His ex-wife, who also works at the space program, knocked him out after he made a joke about cheating on her. Then a junior technician came upon his body and decided this was a perfect chance for a promotion, so the technician locked the guy's body inside the panel. When the guy didn't report for work, the tech got the guy's job. Also, the guy's current wife, who also works at the space program, saw all this on the security monitor, and decided to make her own plan, too, instead of saving him. College would be very expensive for their kid, so she hurriedly took out a life insurance policy on her husband, hoping he'd die in space. Finally, his kid was in on it, too. As an adult, the kid traveled back in time to make sure the guy was on that ship. When the ship arrives at Mars, it crashes on the planet, killing all aboard. The life insurance pays off, ensuring the kid goes to college. View all replies >
