Completely agree with you. Joanna Scanlan's portrayal of the heartbroken wife had me feeling I was viewing the real thing (not a movie). The cast, scenes, and dialogue were extraordinary. --Agree that this movie isn't for everyone. Excellent write-up Adam60z. :) If I remember correctly there was an "Ignore this user" option on IMDB, once checked, anything posted via that user name did not appear in my feed. This site is not well known. I often view films that aren't new or are independent -- few of those have discussion threads here, whereas on IMDB even obscure movies had comments. I chortled. Every movie made from 1960 thru 2015 is getting a remake or sequel ad nauseam. Let's appreciate not having to watch Return to Brokeback Mountain and There will be Gore separately. In real life, if there was a place, where people aged rapidly, and thereby drugs could be tested in a day, rather than in decades, many sick people would volunteer to be tested, for the good of mankind. Thereby, families wouldn't have to be tricked into coming and dying. Although it wouldn't be much of a movie, ..If such a place existed, there'd be ill volunteers; entire families wouldn't need to be eradicated. I am a slacker and you caught me. I fast forwarded after she returned to the states. She was crying and appeared to be admitting something. I appreciate you not being mean about it. Thank you. (It's nice to be corrected without the vitriol that often comes with being corrected online). View all replies >
