I dont have as much confidence in Wendys character suddenly having a heart. IMO, Wendy is probably afraid that Marty (being Marty) is going to try and save Ruth. That would put Wendy and her familys lives at risk. Anyone else is just collateral damage to Wendy.
I noticed her table manners as well.
[Edit] also, using fork in left hand to cut and than switching to the right hand to eat. Definitely interesting. Also, I noticed that Anytime anyone was actually eating in the show it was always salad LOL

I agree with you as well. Ruth is my favorite, she is not only a firecracker, her street smarts are in her blood.
There is usually one reason a character of her wits could make bad decisions. My guess is <spoiler>LOVE. Watching Wyatt push her away is heartbreaking to her, losing her father even tho he was a POS, never feeling 100% accepted by the Byrd enterprises/family. And finally, good ol’ Ben came around and showed her what love and being cared for is really like. Even if he was cray cray off of his meds</spoiler>

This was three years ago. I wrote this hint thinking, at the time, that this movie would gain more traction with Netflix users. So yeah, maybe my taste in films is a bit different from those of my friends and peers LOL
He was high as hell, arrogant, just had a bunch of hookers, made the device that trapped Jesse, knew Jesse had extremely low self esteem… this combination, as well as him trying to show off in-front of his “friends” while being high af on what apparently was some really really good Cocaine

I’ve been to LA- Stayed at a friends in West Hollywood at the bottom of Runyon Canyon.
In the first episode of season two, before Joe gets to his new apartment he turns the corner and walks by random people (taking selfies, a photographer taking pics of a “model”, what looks like a younger woman talking to her phone like she’s on Instagram or FB going live, etc). I screamed at that scene!! I have witnessed the LA social media fckery first hand and it looked just like that scene. It was the weirdest second hand embarrassment trying to walk down a street dodging boyfriend/photographers and ppl walking into me backwards like no one else in the world existed.
That was 5 years ago, so I can’t imagine what the SM scene is like out there in 2020.
(LA) In my opinion:
- they have amazing donuts
- it’s beautiful - natives are super chill and will go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable (real face to face conversation with a well intentioned stranger is likely)
- most non-native’s are self absorbed (or I’m just a snobby New Yorker lol)
- apartment wise; you get wayyyyy more space in LA than NYC for the $$$ but Joe paying rent at $12/hour is not believable.
- majority of the people I came in contact with were under 30, had a lot of free time, appeared to have limitless funds, and own a business or brand.
- almost all businesses were cashless and everyone paid w/ their phones, employees don’t want to touch cash.
- Eating healthy, vegan, non gmo, taking wheatgrass shots, going to oxygen bars, and hiking/working out is an unwritten rule; They had a Cool Sculpt (fat burning) machine right in the gym.
- I’m 5’3 / 105 lbs / petite and felt like I was fat for the first time in my life. Real talk, women are either super skinny or have Kardashian curves with a flat stomach and stick legs.

I truly apologize.

Okay. Given that Hillary duff had part in the production of this film - I’m going to give her a break. I think this film doesn’t mean to disrespect Sharon Tate but bring light to the theories surrounding the Manson Cult Murders. It’s not far off that Charles Manson hinself had involvement with designer drugs made in government labs put on the streets by the CIA. It’s also not far off that Manson DID believe and terribly want a career in music. Hollywood is corrupt af.
Yes I do think there is a conspiracy involved with anything surrounding money and or fame. Google some of the lesser known facts surrounding not only the Sharon Tate case and how “Helen Skelter” was really pushed in the indictment and trial of Charles Manson. Also google some of the shady characters that were involved with Wojciech Frykowski and the drugs they were selling. It does get super dark and crazy conspiracy theory-like, but it’s really not a far off Theory for the 60’s. A time of evolving corruption conspiracy and hello... effing Watergate happened about a decade later. The 60’s were probably the latest time in history where scandals were actually sacred and if someone had something on you it was very hard to prove.

Just to put it into perspective. I honestly had no interest in this case and thought Charles Manson had nothing important left to tell us - only crazy ramblings. until I saw that Hillary Duff of all people was involved in such an important role of the most notorious cult leaders’ murder sprees. So while I understand why you feel disgusted and disrespected, I think there is a lot more to this case. And out of respect for Tate, I hope more details become more mainstream. As for Hollywood, they do a great job of covering up their fair amount of shiet.
Just binge watched the entire season! 🤫🤫

I’m a 30f. So idk what an Acceptable form of hazing is. When I was in college tons of frat guys were dying due to alcohol poisoning. A lot of campus’ went dry. It is a lot different, there were boys that liked boys and boys that liked girls / rarely any anyone in between. It was extremely rare to hear about any trans, especially in Greek life. What I really am curious to know is this how HS and college life are now? Oxy’s were 1000% around and super easy to get from the time I was in 7th/8th grade, Xanax/oxys/weed/molly and occasionally cocaine were DEFF present in HS. college is when addorral came around, alothough most of us were prescribed for some form of ADD/ADHD med as it was “PILL NATION” where almost everyone and everything were fine and dandy with taking a pill for everything.
As far as sexuality: we had a few boys that liked boys. For some reason we didn’t consider them gay, bc they were just coming out. But they always hung with the “in-crowd” and although I’m sure it was hard for these guys, it was socially acceptable for them to be gay or “bi”. We had one kid that wanted to be a girl since I met him in the 6th grade, he was tormented simply for shaving his legs. He now has severe depression, and he’s been on heavy drugs for years now. He also didn’t have a good home life, and literally had no friends. People treated him like he had the plague, so much so, That I was afraid to approach him bc he had attacked anyone that came too close to him. I have had guy friends come out and tell me they have though about chicks w dicks in the past, and I’ve seen two of my guys friends hook up in my back seat when they were high on weed and pcp so I’ve always had this notion in my head that not every guy that claims he’s straight is actually 100% straight
What I love about this show is it’s really raw and gets gritty af. I can relate and I graduated HS in 2007.
