I do to. It's just not as authentic overall to me. British act I like are numerous. The obvious one like The Beatles, Stones, Who and the Kinks (I also like the Dave Clark 5). Bowie, T Rex, and Roxy Music. Punk like the Pistols, Clash, Damned, Buzzcocks. Post punk like Joy Division/New Order, The Fall, The Smiths. There are probably more If I thought about more.

There are many British acts I like a lot but find most British Rock to be camp version of American Rock.

I posted this on another thread: Check out Kanopy https://www.kanopy.com/ This site has many Criterion selections. I get it because I work at a Library. I think it is available through public libraries for free.
