Is this thread directed at me? If so I sometimes have a marathon of every film that swept the Oscars so it went like this:

I’m sure Daisy Ridley is a fine actress, my problems with her character are almost completely with the script
The fact that the left thinks they can just assume that somehow has this so called "white privilege" merely because of their skin color is making huge leaps in logic and assumptions not backed up by any kind of data or analysis. In order for someone to conclude I have "white privilege" they would have to know pretty much my whole backstory. It sounds to me it's the left who have the problem with race.
No one criticizes John Goodman because he was able to portray the character from the show convincingly, plus his character was fat in the show. The same cannot be said for Rosie.

Gotta admit this one is a guilty pleasure for me. When I redid my Bond rankings I was going to bump this one down to like 16th or so but when I rewatched it I just couldn't do it and I bumped it back up to 12th.
I think a lot of people nowadays see Rocky IV as a fun yet bad movie, however I don't even see it as that, I just see it as a bad movie plain and simple and not in a good way.

Also notice what the patients are doing in that scene: They are gambling like they did with MacMurphy despite the fact that Nurse Ratched had banned the practice earlier. She has lost her authority, she is completely broken and has lost her will to dominate and micromanage the ward like she used to.
