Agreed, that's what makes these movies like.. yeah ok.. that makes us lose interest...! They have chances of running, self defence. or getting out.. instead, just stand and scream like a moron.. makes you want them to die..! That fat boy Roger Ebert was nothing more than a wanna be movie critic. most of his reviews are shit and garbage. Mikeflatley..That garbage movie was about WW2's final days, the movie "fury" basically was the typical "american hero" crap..! True, but he needed a translator and his two were killed days ago..! :) In that case Upham should have moved too instead of staying behind and watching the fight..! Each to their own, I prefer THIS than FURY.. Fury was somewhat ok.. but the ending basically killed the movie.. 5 guys killing 200+ Germans and when the last american is spotted, what does the German guy do after seeing all his buddies get killed by them.. lets him go.. ! your typical American gun ho hero garbage..! SPR, was ok.. but that too, made the americans like the loving and caring soldiers who never miss and are strong and so.. ( with the exception of some parts where they made it real life).. But, the beginning landing was good and greatly filmed, and I know that we can't spend 6 hrs. on the beach just fighting, we had to move on in the movie.. Yeah, same here.. the ending basically turned this movie into your gung ho hero type movie.. 5 guys kill 200+ Germans... so unrealistic.! I'm pretty sure they did their homework in research before doing a movie like such... ! :) I agree, your typical american war movies are usually... americans are shown as gung ho heroes and great markesmen shipo with weapons never blocking and they always hide... while the ennemies are somewhat idiots who stand in the open, always miss and always have their guns jam...! I prefer movies NOT depicting american soldiers..! The movie was tolerable on it's own.. but absolute garbage compared to the masterpiece of the 1982 one..! It's somewhat tolerable on it's OWN... but not as a prequel... but apart from that.. total garbage..! Agreed, putting americans in there killed the movie completely.. it's lilke.. hey.. the Norwegians don'tknow shit.. but the americans will save the day again..! Agreed, I always have to rewatch this scene 5x or more.. just to get that "pissed off' feeling of Clark..! I'm pretty sure they skipped some motel scenes or days... they had to cut the movie down to 90 mins... but I would love to see a longer directors cut edit if there ever was one..! Exactly, I agree with you Kowalsi, the sequal.. I don't even bother considering it "the Thing prequel" sooo rushed,, so badly filled with terrible CGI.... no imagination.. and to add insult to injury.. adding Americans to a Norwegian base to make it like the americans are heros again.... sooo pathetic..! You saw the TV version of "The Thing" with added scenes.. you didn't imagine anything.. and most here who answered don't know about the "tv cut" version... the dog running has a narrative voice that says "who knows what lies behind every man, every..... and so on...! Love that respond... How about.... 18. Since he can pick up any chick he wants. why does he force himself onto the girl at the store..? 19. Panties disappear very fast on sexy women. Natasha is shot down and we see her wearing panties, then after when she removes her same dress. she's buck naked. Actually, there are BETTER movies than "Inseminoid".. check out "Humanoids from the Deep..! " 1980, you'll get sexy chicks boinked. your typical Roger Corman movies..!
