I was thinking about this and hoped they would think that Type 1 is a possibility so they have to store insulin for possible future diabetics but as you say what comes after that unless they have set up a lab in one of the bunkers you are screwed. But so is anyone in the bunker who gets cancer or any illness or disease that needs some medication or treatment that they cannot provide for. Fingers crossed they have planned for this.
Not only the pilots dying but they put that whole flight at risk for exceeding the weight by their selfish actions. They could have killed everyone on that flight. My fave love/ hate Air Crash Investigation shows that.
I have just watched this so late to the comments but he was not smart. He could only scream and yell in the back seat of the car while his mother was dragged after what felt like forever from the back seat. Why couldn't he undo his seat belt and get out of the car if he was so smart?
Have a really stupid child who cannot take off his seatbelt and get out of the car while your mum is getting dragged out by a nutter.
If you calculate how long it will take to get to the plane that will fly you to Greenland you still have time to waste so you can have a really long goodbye with your FIL.
Plus drive at 60mph which you can see on their speedometer when they are racing to the airport before the plane takes off. I don't know maybe it's the speed limit?
Don't get me wrong my anxiety watching this movie was high but more so over the stupid decisions made by the actions of the main characters.
