Weird Al made a big mistake casting someone in the lead who doesn’t have ANY social media. (No following to interact with or TikTok dances.)
Al tried getting the “Eat It came first” thing going on Twitter and when that didn’t work he personally claimed Daniel got banned from Twitter for faking Elon Musk.
He would’ve been better off casting that youtuber Logan Paul.
The girls probably see Pitch Perfect as the teen movie of the 10’s. Especially with that cup song that became a hit.
They gave a family of stuntmen the reigns to make a big budget movie. So the only thing people said was good back then was that all the driving was real. (No CG)
So you can see why it bombed and killed Aaron Paul’s chances to make it big as a lead man.
Beyonce indeed tries too hard to what she thinks is hot, but with the Britney nudes I think her family is sneakily trying to get the conservator ship back. I don’t think it will work. Its gonna take more than nudes to get that going again.
Mary Jane and Harry Osborn had lives and minds of their own. (Even in school.)
Michelle and Ned are geeky kids orbiting around Peter’s life and his emotions. (That random girlfriend in the second movie felt like a joke.)

I love the movie. I love Shuri.
Unfortunately the people who made this movie wanted to keep “Africaness” in it so that’s why the people on the street walked barefoot. No proper roads and houses either.
I hated that. You could have tribal art on proper houses.
Actually what I remember most from fairytale books is Jasmine just being carried through town when Aladdin falls in love and uses the genie to make himself wealthy so he could have a chance. They were always portrayed as two kindhearted characters so no real issue there.
I think Disney actually made her an active character who wanted to learn about outside the palace. She also already speaks to the guys like she’s queen. (The sultan, Jafar, Aladdin scène)
With the cartoon I pretty much expect Jasmine to lead with Aladdin in the future.
The live action was messy and unconvincing. In comparison to Beauty and the Beast where I actually felt the somber reality in Belle that she wasn’t free in Aladdin you don’t feel any of that.
Compare these scenes with the cartoon:
Aladdin: The rich man confrontation in the market
Jafar: When he grabs the lamp when the cave about to close.
Jasmine: When the three guys discuss her marriage and she overhears vs when she talks to the maid about her mother in her room.
Also i HATED the rom-com style dialogue and gags. Its what stood out the most. Wacky Maid, Fresh Genie, HamYam Yam Yams🤡
