They justified it by saying that Obi-Wan wasn’t strong enough to fight Palpatine. I guess he would’ve just gotten in the way like the other jedi masters did when Windu fought Palpatine. Whether or not you agree with that is a separate discussion, but that’s what happened. With that said, it is odd that Obi-Wan was considered strong enough to fight Anakin, the same Anakin that had recently beat Dooku, the same Dooku that beat Obi-Wan every time they fought. The power levels in the movies weren’t exactly consistent. Turns out all the best British soldiers went to America and rebelled. No wonder England has failed since. Now they’re getting taken over by Muslims. I have to agree that, ironically, Josstice League had the best and most comic-accurate Superman in the DCEU, and Cavill actually gave a solid performance. Many people forget that because they were too distracted by his CGI mouth. Why they didn't just CGI his whole face is beyond me, it might have looked a little uncanny like young Jeff Bridges in Tron Legacy, but it would've still been better than what we got, but I digress. The nerdy giga-chad Henry is what people love, so much so that they'll even take back, or at least downplay, whatever criticisms they gave him before. I think once they found out he was a nerd, many of them did a complete 180 on their views. Now he was "one of them". I still remember people shitting on his acting when Man of Steel came out, and BvS didn't help either. Snyder's writing and Cavill's wooden acting created an edgy mopey Superman that nobody liked. Now they're in love with the apparent nerdy giga-chad Henry Cavill. He seems like a swell guy, and he certainly looks like a real-life Superman. His acting isn't the best, but had he been born 15-20 years earlier, I'm pretty sure he'd be up there with Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, and Jason Statham as far as post-2000 action stars go. Unfortunately for him, he looks exactly like the person modern Hollywood hates, and he's adjacent to box-office poison, which I blame external factors on. I'm honestly surprised he's still getting Hollywood jobs at all. Depends on the situation. It’s relevant to her character, who’s supposed to be conventionally beautiful. It’s not, it’s a reasonable take. That doesn’t explain why she’s ugly. Do they seriously expect people to “reimagine” their beauty standards too? Ask the people who demanded for “muh representation and inclusion” in the first place why it mattered to them what characters looked like. They didn’t care about the IP before, and they still don’t. The vast majority of people recognize his work and how influential it was. His legacy still affects art even today. If this was some school play, nobody would care. But this is professional theater, which comes with higher standards. If she was at least hot, most people wouldn’t care as much. But they chose an ugly woman on purpose. This isn’t an isolated incident either, they’ve been doing this for years. So no, you haven't watched all of them. And I wouldn't rely too much on audience and critic scores these days, not only does ad populum not make something good, rating sites have been shown to be tampered with from time to time. Have you seen Idiocracy? How much of the last did you watch, though? They've reviewed plenty of other stuff than MCU and Star Wars, and they're still right, the infection is widespread. Some IPs aren't hit as bad as others, for now, but it's everywhere in the west. It's only a matter of time before foreign media are hit too, starting with Japan and Korea. “ as opposed to the instigators are extreme leftists and everyone else is normal leftists + rightists” is what I meant. “you dont have to be a right winger to see that trannies should not be in competitive womens sports.” Which supports my point that many people are lumped in with rightwingers. So what do you mean when you said I “relapsed”? I’ve observed these YouTube critics after people on here and twitter complained about them, and so far the critics have been correct. They might act somewhat dramatic for entertainment purposes, but they’re still correct. You don’t see it on this site because Moviechat, apparently, mostly appeals to people who aren’t radical leftists. Go on YouTube, or journalist sites, or Reset Era, or Reddit, or Twitter, and you’ll see lefties complaining about the male gaze and the patriarchy and whatever other buzzword they’ve been fed. Anyone who doesn’t go along with this “diversity” farce is labeled rightwing, just look at how they reacted to JK Rowling. I repeat, leftists are the ones instigating it, all “rightwingers” (ergo everyone else) have done is react to them. The right wingers are the ones responding to leftwing complaints. The left are the ones instigating it, and have been for over a decade now. “Why am I not seeing more black people in my tv? That woman is too hot, make her uglier and put on more clothes! Where are all the gays at?” You mean to say you’ve somehow never seen the left whining about the patriarchy, white supremacy, the male gaze, misogyny, Nazism, etc? All those things are practically non-existent in the developed world, yet the left thinks they’re widespread and affecting people’s daily lives. Their entire identity is whining about things that don’t exist anymore just for clout, well, and control now too. And to think, this was before a lot of them became well-known. Back then, most of them were nobodies, maybe a few credits here and there. It's kinda funny how they all blew up at some point after this. It's almost like the movie was blessed or something.
