Has anyone ever explained exactly why the studio didn’t abandon this film?
Actually had a good element of suspense to it.
As long as we continue to bitch about rage bait such as this film, Hollywood will keep doing this.
It’s not a roast if you’re praising the man every 5 seconds.

So glad to see that someone else gets this. I laugh my ass off at parts of this movie and it confuses people. Haha

Gotcha. The impression that’s given in the documentaries I’ve seen is that Spielberg was the only one who had anything to lose. I guess that’s not true but that’s why I asked.
Because at the time they didn’t know it was going to be a hit. That’s why the story of Jaws is so inspiring. It had everything going against it, but in the end it was an historic success.
What I’m wondering is what member of the establishment he betrayed. Compared to the sex trafficking, this video is the least of his problems. It reminds me of Epstein in that those in power are fine letting a monster like Diddy operate as long as he follows their demands. He must have pushed back on the system.
