Hard disagree as I think this is the funniest movie ever made. What are some of the best comedies out there, in your opinion? I'm with you on just about all of your points except for the Death Star being rebuilt; connecting to the original premise of the Death Star, the development of which wasn't elaborated on in the first, and coming full circle with it being the ultimate aim of the Empire gave more weight to the premise that the "good" people in the galaxy could be united in something as critical as the destruction of a weapon that can destroy planets. For sure it could have been written better, but at least the premise wasn't translated into a throwaway explosion scene like in whichever of the newer ones that happened in. But yes, Return of the Jedi isn't a good movie and it's value is based purely on its connection to the first two. Definitely, with a dash of population growth reduction in parallel. I wouldn't say the goal is some sort of Marxist utopia however, but that the notion of abandoning tradition and creating blank slate youths more suits future aims related to the formation of a "new society" that will be appalling to those who value "antiquated" Enlightenment ideals such as privacy, independence and self-determination. You would be the target audience for trash news like this. Never. I was with some friends when we found a blow up doll as kids, however. One of my friends proceeded to walk around carrying it with his finger poking up in a certain area and it wasn't until several years later that I realized how truly disgusting that is. I'm glad to see her getting this success since she's one of a handful of people acting in her generation, of either sex, that brings more to the screen than their physical appearance. Anya can act circles around the likes of the Zendayas, Sydney Sweeneys and so on out there, and I think she has a long career and many good works ahead of her, unlike the others mentioned that will likely be irrelevant once past their physical prime. Nosetalgia by Pusha T ft. Kendrick Lamar https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UgGZJxI-fFA Without the nostalgia and the intrinsic connection to the first two, you aren't wrong. Did you get saddled with alimony due to Common Law Marriage? That could be rough. It probably has something to do with the lashing it has been receiving in this thread lately: https://moviechat.org/tt31433814/Doctor-Who/66464c69267af721f3095705/Blacklisting Now you're asking people to confess to committing a crime? What is your motive? This guy and his pattern of asking personal questions gets weirder and weirder. I can't see anything good coming out of answering these questions. Anyone know why was he banned before? Was it because of this same routine? If the response to his talking points was a Yahoo news article he could copy and paste the shit out of it though. Good, fun movie, and I enjoyed the "ride" it inspired with the theatre screen and moving chairs (anyone else remember that?), but Tom Cruise being Top Gun-Tom Cruise didn't give it the same depth and impact as many of the other films mentioned here. Million Dollar Baby is probably the best sports movie to come out both before Warrior and after Rocky. Maybe next time. Thanks for the invite though. Nice. It's one I watched a long time ago on high on something or other that I remember the premise of but little else and it's been on my watchlist for awhile now. I'll try to make it soon. Hello movie people. By the post count it looks like you're enjoying yourselves. I wanted to see if I can get a movie on the list for a future pick that I'll hopefully be able to attend soon.
