No, the Canadian government does not support genocide. It denies that there is genocide because it knows that there is no genocide. Canada fought in World War II, in which hundreds of thousands of German civilians were killed by Allied bombing. That wasn't genocide so it's that much clearer to Canada that there is no genocide now.
shareIf you get the chance, read a book called Being Red by Howard Fast (1990) - he talks about what the British did in India during World War II. I don't remember being taught that in school. Spoiler alert, they let lots of people die.
