Matt Walsh on Disney and Wokeness

I'm not really a fan of Matt Walsh, but here he does an excellent breakdown of what is happening at Disney and other companies.

Fun fact: lumberjacks have never been in style; his entire life philosophy is par for the course.

Paul Bunyan disagrees.

Babe, too.

Matt Walsh is a sad little man who cries about Satanism.

He also is afflicted with a major serious case of Disneybrain.

reply

While that may be true, none of that is relevant here. I had hoped that people would focus on what he is saying rather than his character.
I even started my post by saying right of the bat that I'm not a fan of his so that we can get that out of the way.

The guy from Veep?

reply

yes, the bald guy from Veep

I like his work on gender issues, but I remember his opinions on Disney, and anime and video games, are either unserious or crap.

Didn't he make a video about how the Disney villains are the real heroes? Maybe that was somebody else, I can't remember.

reply

He thinks anime is satanic. He thinks most modern culture is satanic.

Guy has been airdropped from the 1930s.

reply

What were his arguments? Maybe he was joking?

reply

No, he was just going on vibes for anime.

For pop culture. Also his position here is just unfalsifiable.

"Theocratic fascist, bestselling children's author, America's highest legal authority"

Twitter seems to make people talk like that, apparently.

reply

Yeah, I'm not a fan of his. But I did enjoy his movie 'What is a woman?' (2022). He does have some strange beliefs, but like you I think he is spot on with respect to gender.
I saw this video today and posted it here because I thought he did a good job explaining what has happened at Disney in the last several years. I had hoped that people here would focus on what he's saying rather than his character.

reply

The same Matt Walsh that thinks it's normal for men to have sex with 16 year old girls?

reply

Age is just a number...

reply

Unless a drag queen is reading a book to someone.
