favorite secondary TV character.

Awhile back we talked about favorite TV characters.
What about those who make the show or episode that aren't the stars.

Shows like
It's Always Sunny
The Office
Dick van Dyke
Parks and Rec
Seinfeld
were superb in their casting of these characters.

My favorites off the top of my head are

Liam McPoyle from Sunny
Ernest T. Bass from Andy Griffith
Jerry Helper from DvD

There are many who can steal an episode.

Cricket from Sunny
Todd Packer from the Office
Ralphio & his sister ( played by the beautiful Jenny Slate) from Parks and Rec

The moment I see Cricket on Sunny, I start dancing and saying crickettttttt! just like the gang. Excited. I know its going to be a great episode.

Nice choice.
I was so happy when they gave him his own episode. A Cricket's Tale
From glory holes to crack the guys a legend.

Jenny Slate is great. She's done a couple Drunk History's and is hysterical.

These are really good picks.
Mostly because I could see myself picking all of these.
You're of course brilliant. ;)

Indeed he is a legend! The Gang Exploits a Miracle, looking at that young fresh faced man and knowing what he turns into hahaha.

Oh yeah? I haven't seen her on Drunk History, haven't watched that show more than twice.

;) back at ya since I liked your choices as well. Jerry Helper! I watched DvD when I was 9 or so and I still remember him.

Is he the top recurring character in that show?
Other than thewaitress of course.

Drunk history is one of my favorite shows on TV.
Not only is it funny but I learn more about history watching this than I ever did in school.
Great guest stars too.
Some of them bring tears to my eyes they're so funny.

I just love the Dick van Dyke show. Maybe my favorite of all time.

I think Cricket has only been on 9 or ten episodes and I feel like I've seen Liam McPoyle way more than 9 episodes. I'm not sure though. I'll have to google search it.

Sounds like I might be watching some drunk history Jenny Slate yt clips before work today. :)

Being married to Charlie Day certainly has his advantages!

She really is funny. More so if she's smashed!

There was a movie that came out a few years after it ended, but I don't think it was worth the watch. The show on the other hand I really liked.

Martin is a great character.
I really like that show but haven't seen it since the original run.

Never watched WG but have seen episodes here and there.
Those two together were magnificent. What great chemistry.
