Disney+
Just signed up. Was on the fence, but it seems like they're offering a lot for $7 a month. Anyone else here adding Disney+ to their streaming roster?

sharePlanning on it
shareI am not in their target audience.
shareWhom do you see as their target audience?
sharepeople with younger kids/grand kids
shareThen perhaps I'm not in their target audience either, but I'm getting it for all the content aimed at adults, of which I think there is enough to warrant the subscription.
shareThat's what I was thinking. It's not all Mickey Mouse, Cinderella, and Snow White. There's a truckload of Disney product.
sharethey have a countdown clock here in canada
https://preview.disneyplus.com/ca/
Once the game is over I'm going to see if it's up and running or if one really needs to wait until midnight to check it out.
shareIt better be a long game. It's about 6-1/2 hours until kickoff right now.
Edit: As in kickoff to Disney+ unless that clock hownos provided is only for Canada. I see the football game has gone to OT now.
Remarkably, it has. This thing could have ended 31-14 Seahawks in regulation, but the 49ers have had lucky break after lucky break. Seems they may even win the thing.
shareI probably will.
Edit: Yep, I did. Free one-week trial, then $7 a month. Not bad.
I just signed up. Looks like lots of good movies and tv shows.
shareCall me a cheapskate, I won't mind. There's plenty of free stuff to watch.
shareSupposedly Verizon is offering a year free. If so they are not making it very easy to find out how to go about doing it.
shareDoes it have the entire Fox movie catalog or not?
shareToday I figured I should just wait until all of the Mandalorian episodes come out and then get Disney+, so I only have to pay for one month.
