What's the last movie you saw at the cinema with your mother?

Inspired by user silverstone.

For me it was The Fighter in 2010.

I honestly don't know. Maybe Broken Arrow (1996).

It never happened. Plenty of my ‘uncles’ tried to curry favour by taking me as a small child though.

I sense we have a connection. My memory is so good these days from having to memorize phone numbers in the past to find "someone" :)

We’re connected right now.

As far as I know, my mother has never been to a movie theater. The last one I saw with my father though, was Terminator 2 on opening day in 1991. I had my driver's permit at the time, and shortly after that I got my license, so I didn't need Dad, or my older brother, or anyone else to take me to the theater after that.

The second part of The Lord of the rings

"Mrs. Pollifax, Spy" (1971), starring Rosalind Russell.

It had to be the It remake, the first chapter, in 2017. My whole family went to see it. It was pretty fun, even though I hated the movie.

I'm gonna have to think that one over, possibly ask her. Mom used to go to the theater with us all the time, until 15 years ago, when she got older and decided she hated going to the movies, and had every complaint in the book for it. Her Crohn's Disease is partially to blame, as well as her aging and cold theaters.

In fact, the last few times I've been to the theater, it was with dad, and sometimes my brother was included.

our entire family went to see mary poppins returns christmas day of 2018, i guess that was...

not to sound too pissy about it, but it was the kind of middling, pleasant enough film that everyone could agree on. and it was fine and pleasant and forgettable. even my mom said so, so that has to be right.
