Didn’t realize how much I’d miss you all

I just let the trolls and the covid break my spirits for a bit. I needed a bit of a mental health break. I had kinda of a really bad horrible week, and seeing all that troll gross stuff didn’t help. So I’m gonna ease back into it . Without you friends I had no one to make my random comments too. It was lonely. Forgive me if I upset you or made you worry.

Ps when I logged out, I had no idea what my password was, and the email I used to register is no longer active because I hadn’t used it in over a year. So I guess I’m starting fresh . It’s nice to have you all along for the ride, even in these crappy times. I can’t even send any private messages cause my “ account is too new”

Capn is back and he’s gonna try to right the ship.

Something about PMs makes me laugh. Not that they don't have a purpose.
I once got a well-meaning PM from someone pointing out it's Merrick Garland, not Merritt as I had posted.
Hell, I know the guy got screwed, I don't need to know how to spell (or pronounce) his name, and I wouldn't be crushed if it were publicly pointed out to me.
At least, I hope I wouldn't be. Depends on the subject, I guess.
But these days I'm so gun-shy, I don't trust what type of bomb some random MCer might toss into my PM basket.
Bad enough getting the normal haters on my tail.

I hope all your old posts haven't been deleted or altered so we don't know they are yours.

I have a hard time keeping track of who is who around here. I recognize your name but don't know your posting history.
Takes a lot of repetition or very overt nastiness for me to register who the commenter is. I go directly to the comment and some obvious made up moniker doesn't mean much to me. And I'm not one of the superstars here, either. My post count is modest considering how long I've been here, but a day doesn't go by where I'm not checking it all out, wondering whether I should weigh in or put mittens on.
