What Movies Have You Walked out on?

I don't think I've ever walked out on a movie before.

'Borat'.

Lame, forced humor. Inane.

"Sleeve of wizard"

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure
Tank Girl
A 3D space documentary in Imax (the film was loaded flipped and created a disorienting reversed 3D effect)

reply

I liked Bill & Ted. Napoleon at "Waterloo" was great.

I have since revisited Bill & Ted and enjoyed it to a degree (still irked by stupid stuff though). There are three or four clever parts that elevate it to a 5/10 for me.

reply

Tank Girl was awful.

I rented Tank Girl and popped it out after maybe 20 minutes. I think it had the DEVO song "Girl U Want" in the beginning, which was cool, but then all downhill.

I jumped after she escapes gun point via rubber shark antics. Didn't ask for money back.

I bought tickets for the movie about the owls but while waiting for the popcorn I thought “damn, I do not want to spend the next two hours watching friggin owls”. So I took the kids in to see Skyfall in the room next door. Quarter way in to it they started asking about the owls so I had to fess up. They were fine with it.

Whatever the Bond movie from around 2012 was

reply

Skyfall? That’s actually one of my favourites.

reply

Thanks for making room. Did you see the owls?

reply

40 Days and 40 Nights remains the one and only. To be honest I don't know why we were there in the first place.

reply

Back in the 80s I walked out on Deal of the Century.

reply
