The evolution from hominid to human (although this process took several millions years)
To see the arrival of the three Columbus ships.
To observe the dinosaurier
To visit one of the first beatles concert
To observe the last parade in Baler of "Los Ășltimos de Filipinas "
To see the first animals moving from sea to land and became amphibian
To take a walk in the an ancient Greece
To observe the first one who made cheese ( yes,that is historical)

Yeah that must have been mind-blowing to the natives.

It also would have been awesome to be in Spain when a ship came back with the news "we found something, we got there, we got back. Who wants to come next?"

There must have been a point where people looked at each other and said "No one's gotten the plague for a whole month now! Let's party! We have the same amount of mead and only half the people left to share it with!"

The premiere of the ballet "The Rite of Spring" in 1913, the ballet choreographed by and starring Nijinsky himself. The ballet had such an impact on the audience that there was an honest-to God riot! Can you imaging stuffy, corseted, Edwardian balletgoers rioting? Wouldn't that have been a fun night!

The choreography of the ballet has been lost and there's no film of Nijinsky himself dancing, and he was reputed to be the best ballet dancer of all time. So instead of going for death and destruction like some of you, I'm picking the chance to see a lost artistic masterwork.
