Plants: 391,000
Fish: 33,000
Gemstones: 300
Birds: 10,000
Trees: 60,000
Insects: 925,000

For all of this happening by chance, BS!
I’ve witnessed a huge explosion and CHAOS was the aftermath! Not PERFECT ORDER!
The Earth spinning on ITS own accord, without batteries, pulleys or cables. Perfectly distanced from the Sun...

1969 Moon landing

reply

I remember watching that as a child.

reply

That must have been awe-inspiring....

reply

Yes, even then (I was 8) I knew how special it was.

reply

I was ten years old. We happened to be visiting my mother's parents over summer vacation. Maybe my parents were watching it with friends, because all I remember was just my sister and grandmother. At the moment, grandma took two metal pot lids and clashed them together like cymbals, saying "We're on the Moon! We're on the Moon!"

reply

😂

reply

I vaguely remember this at six years of age. i knew something special was going on.

reply

Wow...that must have been cool!

reply

Don't talk to me about the fucking moon landing ! I was forced to walk four miles home from school, in the rain, in winter, to sit in a cold lounge room in my wet clothes to watch a bunch of anonymous white blobs bobbling around on the screen *beep*. That night I was delirious and by the next day I had pneumonia. Thanks a lot NASA you arseholes !

Haha!

I'll piggy back on your first event and choose Victory in Europe Day (May 8th, 1945.)

reply

My father was in England on VE Day and at 3pm everything stopped as Churchill came on the radio and announced the end of the war. It was just one big party after that.
