Thoughts on Cadillac's modern take on the limousine?

Sort of a sedan with an extra row.

Looks good, real slick like.

Ugly has homemade shoes.

And it doesn't look like a sedan at all; it looks like a stretched "crossover," which seems to have become the lowest common denominator of automobiles in the past 10 or 15 years. Practically every passenger vehicle on the road these days that's not a pickup truck is one of those butt ugly "crossovers" or "SUVs" (most of which are barely distinguishable from "crossovers" now). Sedans and coupes are practically extinct, and traditional station wagons are extinct as far as I know. Minivans mostly killed those off decades ago, and now "crossovers" and "SUVs" have mostly killed off minivans.

Every new year that comes along is the new worst year ever for car body styles, and I doubt that trend will ever change during my lifetime.

surely thats purely for funeral use?

reply

Not something I hope to use anytime soon.

The Death Car. Nice.

I look forward to never riding in one.
