Is it okay to DRIVE your kids to a richer neighborhood to go trick or treating?


Or is that kinda weird?

There is a street in my city where a lot of people go as they do go all out for Halloween. My cousin used to live there and I think the last year they had 1500 kids come trick or treating. On the news this year the numbers were over 2000. The local business association has spare candy for when houses run out, and I know that some houses team up with their next door neighbours and hand out candy between the houses.

I think that's insane.

Why not? I thought you were going to ask if it's ok to let your kids walk in your neighborhood, considering helicopter parenting and this kind of (literal) nanny state trend:
