Is it okay to DRIVE your kids to a richer neighborhood to go trick or treating?
Or is that kinda weird?
shareOr is that kinda weird?
shareIt is kinda ghetto but I understand the logic.
shareNot weird at all.
shareDoes the driver get a cut?
shareNo, people do weird stuff on Halloween so I'd keep it in the neighborhood I know.
shareABSOLUTELY...A LOT OF PEOPLE...US INCLUDED LIVE IN A NEIGHBORHOOD THAT HAS FENCES,GATES,DOGS,NO TRICK OR TREATING....I TAKE ALI TO A HOUSING TRACT BY US CALLED WINDSONG VALLEY...HUNDREDS OF HOUSES,SIDEWALKS,DECORATIONS,HAUNTED HOUSES,ETC...MY PARENTS TOOK MY SISTER AND I TO WINDSONG VALLEY TOO...WE HAVE BEEN USING THAT NEIGHBORHOOD FOR HALLOWEN,YARD SALES,CHRSTMAS LIGHTS,ETC FOR 40 YEARS NOW JUST ABOUT.
shareAbsolutely, not every area is set up for trick or treating. Some of us live in the woods with no side walks, or street lights, and the houses are far apart.
shareThe worst place to trick or treat is an apartment complex, especially one with subsidized housing; poorer people. I've taken children of immigrants from there and driven them to a nice neighborhood five minutes away. They go to small older houses, close together, with nice Halloween decorations. There are lots of other children and adults in cool costumes, so they get the whole experience. They want the candy, since their parents won't buy any.
shareDo the parents give you permission to take the kids?
