Pancakes or French toast?

reply

I think the real debate is Pancakes or Waffles? I usually go for waffles.

reply

That's making the debate far too complicated.

reply

Yes, this is tougher, I waffle on this question.

reply

Pancakes. With pure maple syrup, of course.

reply

To get pure maple syrup do we have to barter with those crazy Canadians?
You know how they get, piss them off and they'll thump you with a hockey stick!

reply

You know, Canada is a maple syrup country

reply

That's good.
Gilbert was a funny one and always a wild guest on talk shows and Howard Stern.
I really liked that guy, RIP Gilbert.

reply

It's posts like these that make me miss that Canuk hownos

reply

Yeah, I still don't get that self destruction bit...
I miss hownos a lot, he was very cool to me when I showed up here many months after the OG's did.

He and dewey were very fun and welcoming, two top brass posters that gave me a friendly handshake.

I won't forget that. And BOTH were sly jokers. We shall carry on Amigo.

reply

"he was very cool to me when I showed up here many months after the OG's did."

You were that to me! I showed up even a bit later, and you were that to me.

And yah, I don't get the deleted all his posts thing either. Burning a bridge.

reply

Wow, thanks for that comment:)
I don't even remember this but you seemed like top people right from the start, a real natural fit.

reply

Same here. I'm so disappointed that he self-destructed (good way to put it).

Homemade (from scratch) pancakes and real maple syrup, hands down for me. Whenever my grandkids come to visit, they ask for them, be it breakfast or dinner.

reply

I trying to think if I've ever purchased flour. I don't think so.

reply

I don't think I could survive without flour. Dinner rolls, cookies, brownies, pancakes, biscuits, muffins, and more. I can't survive without milk, either. I always have to have milk in the house. I buy it by the gallon, even though I live alone. Gotta have milk with my pancakes!

reply

When I buy pancake mix I don't even get the kind you have to add an egg. I get the one where all you need to add is water :)

reply

Both are delicious but I like French toast better.

reply

HMM...IT KIND F DEPENDS ON WHERE THEY ARE FROM...AT HOME?...FRENCH TOAST EVERYTIME...BUT...IF I AM AT IHOP...THOSE PANCAKES ARE FUCKING YUMMY...PANCAKES WIN.

reply

French toast for me.

reply

I’m happy for whatever I’m given.

reply

You are the Ringo Starr of this debate!

reply

I’ll take that as a compliment, as he is well liked and respected within the music industry.

reply

He is. A very underrated drummer.

reply

I have all his albums and if you look at all the musicians that have contributed on them over the years, it reads like Rock n’ Roll royalty.

reply

He's a legend.

reply

Yes and comes across as a top guy 👍

reply

You have all of his solo albums?
A lot if them are pretty bad. I mean he does have a lot of good songs here and there but most of the overall albums are pretty bad.

reply

Yes I do and I like them.

reply

French toast, no doubt. Pancakes are easier to make, though.

reply

I suppose you use a mix.

I make everything from scratch which is why FT is easier for me to make.

reply

I don't think I've ever made pancakes from scratch, yeah.

reply

Pop Tarts.

reply

Hey bro, stop complicating everything!

reply

Pop Tarts...The Auto-tune of breakfasts.

reply

LOL I was just being cheeky.

French Toast > Pancakes.

Pancakes are too heavy for me.
