Do you define yourself by your race/s and ethnicity/ies?

Not essentially and all the time.

reply

I'm a human being - that's enough.

reply

No. I mostly define myself and others generationally. Boomers and zoomers, gen x and all that. Regardless of what you is, when you were born seems to make up how your mind works.

reply

American, of various European descent, primarily Scots-Irish.

reply

No.

reply

Nope. I was adopted and although it was obvious that I was at least mostly pasty white, I had no idea which countries my families came from, so I've never cared.

reply

No. Nobody cares about this stuff. Not where I live anyway.

reply

Agreed.
It’s all sort of silly.

There are plenty of reasons to dislike people. Race is sort of a stupid one.

reply

To me there are two types of people ; arseholes or not arseholes.
Any other feature they possess (especially ones they have no control over) is irrelevant.

This poster is annoying. I've put on ignore 🙄. I'm irritated at myself that I responded in the first place lol.

reply

It happens to the best of us.

reply

No, I don't define myself solely by my race or ethnicity. While they're part of who I am, they don't encompass the entirety of my identity. I'm made up of a mosaic of experiences, beliefs, and characteristics that go beyond just my racial or ethnic background.
