6/10.

reply

His toupee is 8.5 out of 10.

As an actor, 6 out of 10.

reply

Those are 100% Affleckian follicles.

Pictures never lie.

reply

Can't blame a method actor for shaving his head to play a monk.

reply

This is tough. Again, it's difficult to separate the man from the acting, but he does have some pretty solid roles. I also think he's a decent director, and writer. 6.75/10

reply

He was perfect in "Gone Girl". That stupid face he has worked so well for the role as an an unlikable creep that you're oddly cheering for.

reply

How do you explain this picture of him sans hair?

reply

Again, method. He even got plastic surgery to make him look like Pat Stew.

reply

You've convinced me, Matt Damon is a better actor.

reply

Well, duh.

reply

6.5/10

As said above, hard to seperate the person & his personality from his acting. And yes, that utterly punchable face!

reply

There has to be some scientific reasoning for that unfortunate asshole face he has.

reply

I like him a lot. He’s very good in dramas and action pictures. I think his best movie was The Town.

7/10

reply

The Town? Clearly you haven't seen the Oscar-robbed film "Gigli".

reply

Haha!
Someone was bound to bring up that atomic flop😄

Yet he’s had some good to great performances as well:

The Last Duel
Triple Frontier
Justice League
Gone Girl
Boiler Room
Shakespeare In Love
Armageddon
Good Will Hunting
Dazed And Confused

I like him, he has screen charisma.

reply

I do as well. I get the complaints about him (He'll always kind of be Chuckie in "Good Will Hunting" to me), but I liked him in "Shakespeare In Love" and "Gone Girl" as well. I hated the ending of "Forces Of Nature," but thought he was good in that also. I'd give him 7/10 also.

reply

I can't even blame him for Gigli. That script would have made Daniel Day-Lewis look like Rob Schneider.

reply

Fair point.

reply

I watched Ben Affleck in a movie titled "The TOWN" where he plays this bank robber who falls for the bank teller he's robbing and is trying to get out of Boston where bank robberies occur on a daily basis apparently.. He was good and of course I saw him in The ACCOUNTANT and look forward to the sequel if and whenever it comes out.. I don't know, I'd rate him a 8/10

reply

The Town was great, I love a good crime movie when the crooks start turning on each other.

reply

He's definitely capable of a solid role, but I haven't even been blown away by any performances of his. I don't see it happening either.

reply

You didn't enjoy his Academy Award Winning role in Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice?? 🤣

reply

MARTHAAAAAAAA!!!!!!

reply

I'll give him a 7/10. Not the greatest actor but he's been decent in several roles.

He's a better director than actor. The Town, Argo and Gone Baby Gone are great movies.

reply

Throw in Gone Girl and Good Wil Hunting and I'd say those are all of his great films.

reply

6.5/10. I like the second half of his career. Don't really care for his earlier roles.

He's had a really solid run from the 2010s to present day. In acting & directing.
