Movies that have stood the test of time.

To me they are the movies that have been relevant for the past 60 years and will forever be relevant in one way or another. Of course a lot of her films have stood the test of time, like Secret Ceremony and Identikit, however they are not widely known or shown anywhere, they HAVE to be shown. Right now watching a movie made before 2007 on tv is as rare a sight as an alien from Mars, but up until a few years ago, she had SEVERAL movies that have stood the test of time. Most stars have one, if they are lucky. In my opinion her films that have stood the test of time are:

National Velvet

A Place In The Sun

Father Of The Bride

Cat On A Hot Tin Roof

Suddenly, Last Summer

Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf?

That's an amazing record to me, I mean how many Meryl Streep films will truly stand the test of time? 1? 2?

Giant is a huge bore, and I rarely see it mentioned anywhere. The other three are amazing films that people talk about all the time and they still feel modern and timeless and they are most certainly worthy of bothering with.
