Would she be considered beautiful by 2022 standards?

It seems beauty standards have shifted from 1970s outdoorsy athletic beach blond to 2022s high stylized urban curvaceous.

Well, no snot ring dangling below her nostrils, no skank tattoos visible, no dumpster hanging out back ... No, she would not be considered beautiful by today's standards.

😂

Yeah, what's with frickin nose rings? I mean, it's a choice, and everyone's entitled to make it, but does anyone genuinely believe it makes them more attractive, or do they just not care?

I would say beauty is beauty. So she would be considered beautiful whether she were in her prime today, or even if went in a Time Machine and brought her back with her 70s hair and clothes.

But I also think time and place are important. She would be considered beautiful, but she wouldn’t influence style, or sell posters like she did in the 70s.

Some people would say, "She has the figure of a 14-year-old boy."

Mostly round women and men married to them who don't want to sleep on the couch.

Whoever said that is on my ignore list LadyBug.

No heterosexual man would make that laughably WRONG statement. Any woman with good eyesight would instantly see Farrah was special.

The unimportant nobody will probably reply with an insult. I won't know what it is because the loser is on ignore.

Farrah was gorgeous. She was a beautiful woman.

reply

100%, and I don't even think she was that skinny.

Sure, she didn't have the biggest boobs in the world, but she wasn't completely flat-chested either, and she had great, healthy legs, but, ultimately, it was her face, especially her smile, her hair, and her healthy tan, that particularly stood out.

Definitely one of the most strikingly beautiful women in pop culture.

reply

I know. But these days, that seems to be said about any woman who doesn't shop in the "larger" women section.

reply

Does her butt look like two basketballs crammed together? Because according to what I see in the media, that seems to be what's considered attractive today.

Farah was most popular for the huge selling iconic poster around 1977-78. She first became famous in Charley's Angels(premiered in, but only did 29 episodes before opting out for an movie career, which flopped(though got critical in way later tv roles). So not sure how long she lasted as the 'It Girl'. Possibly the previous one, Raquel Welch, lasted a way lot longer. and was Latina.
