One of my favorite episodes from Tales From The Darkside starred Rae Dawn Chong. And she looked great. The episode was called "You Broke Your Vow". This might have been from the movie Tales from the Darkside: The Movie (1990)

I seem to remember that, she hooks up with an artist and turns out she's a gargoyle or something. The vow breaking comes when one of the pictures he drew of her gets leaked. Something like that. I don't remember the story well but see looked great.

Close. But when he was about to be killed he promised he would NEVER tell anyone if he could live. He married the thing (Rae Dawn Chong) that was about to kill him. Life was great until he broke his promise and told her want happened to him. Then all hell broke loose.

Would love to see it again after all these years.

She was nude in Quest for Fire.

Imdb trivia: Rae Dawn Chong was not only comfortable being naked but liked being naked. These were why she stayed naked between scenes.

I really enjoyed the movie Choose Me, and RDC was fetching and attractive in spades, but her acting seemed a little off.
Kinda fit the character, an off-beat character in an off-beat film, but between her and Carradine, I love the film but they seem they are fun as their characters, but not immersed in their characters.
I've often thought this about Keith C. He does a good enough job, but I think a peer like Martin Sheen seems to inhabit a character more convincingly.

She was an interesting actress for her time which is saying a lot because black/asian actresses weren't a common thing on the movie screen back in the 80s
