But for the record he did a lot in life to promote Native American causes. And no one can deny the success of his "Keep America Beautiful" commercials to promote the environment.

He played Iron Eyes in one film and then pretended to be a Native American for the rest of his life. I didn't say it was wrong or right, I indicated in modern times he would be Cancelled.
