Britney Spears Smacked Herself In The Face As She Attempted To Say “Hello” To Victor Wembanyama: Police Report

One day after Britney Spears accused NBA star Victor Wembanyama’s security guard of hitting her as she attempted to say hello the Spurs No. 1 overall pick, Las Vegas police say it was Spears own hand that struck her face as the security guard attempted to slap her hand off of Wembanyama’s shoulder. No charges will be filed.

ABC affiliate KTNV13 obtained a copy of the report, which reads in part:

“Detectives and I were able to review surveillance footage of the event which showed Britney going to tap the Spurs player on the shoulder. When she touched the player [the security guard] pushes her hand off the player without looking which causes Britney’s hand to hit herself in the face.”

Footage of the incident posted online overnight seems to corroborate the LVMPD report.

This is so ridiculous. How many times a day do ordinary people accidently bash into each other? If you ride a subway, you’ve probably had at least one unintentional encounter that caused some pain or bruising. Celebs use these normal course of living moments to grab a headline and get their name out there. Pathetic.

Even with Britney's account of the story, it sounds like it was an accident. I knew she was crazy, I guess we should also add vindictive to the list as well.
