I despise Zuckerberg, but you seem to be a total fool if you seriously call Bill Gates "greedy". That man gave more to all sorts of charities in his life than your entire bloodline ever earned. Gates is not greedy at all.
Get your facts straight.

Hypocrite, so could YOU but you don't.
(Go ahead and claim your generous charity contributions for starving kids in Africa, we both know you would probably be lying and even if not > you could always give MORE, yet you do not - so why should Bill?).

Here's a fun fact for you:
Other people's money is none of your business.
What he does with it is only up to him and you have no right whatsoever to criticize him for it. Just because he has a lot of it doesn't mean he has to give it away. He provided for his family for generations to come, as is his obligation as a family father. The modern socialistic "give me your money!" attitude will not do society ANY good. It only ensures people growing up with a twisted sense of responsibility and severe entitlement, we can observe this very well currently, especially in the United States.

Until my previous post you did not even KNOW he is actually very charitable and yet here you are having the audacity to blame him for not giving even more. Again, what is YOUR contribution? Why don't you go do something brilliant netting you billions and then walk the talk?

Here is a small goal post for ya: Gates donated 4.6 BILLION(!) to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation alone which is all about "The path out of poverty begins when the next generation can access quality healthcare and a great education."
So go on, educate us with your eternal wisdom about the greediness of people like Bill Gates who actively contributed heavily in a meaningful manner to society.

By the way, to finally crush your stupid claim and comment:
Gates donated a total of 50 BILLION Dollars ($50.000.000.000!) so far in his life.

Call that guy greedy again...

You again fail to understand. One last time for the sake of it:
The pointless part of this debate is trying to talk some sense into you and make you realize that other people's money is not your business and more importantly, that it is completely absurd to call someone who donated more money than you can even imagine greedy, just because he's not giving "more", while you are a complete hypocrite and do not do the same and further, rather spill out typical mantras of socialist ideologues.

I don't know who you are, how old you are or what your possibilities of education are, but I strongly advise you to educate yourself at this point about how this world really functions and why it is important to respect other people's achievements, possessions and way of life instead of sticking to empty catchphrases while not even following your own demands for other people.

Yes that's very kumbaya, let's hold hands and dance our names in a circle of joy and love... while the real world spins on without us.

I see, you really paid attention in history class.......

I'm 100% sure you wouldn't give away your billions either if you were in his shoes. It's easy to sit there on the outside and shake your head at a filthy rich person vs actually being one. No sane person would ever give away even half of their fortune to charities.

However you might be interested to know that Mr Zuckerberg is not only all for a Universal Basic Income in the United States, but he's also willing to chip in on the budget of such a thing along with other billionaires to help as many families out there in the future. If that's not good enough for your hate in this thread than so be it. At the end of the day he's earned the right to be as rich as he is because he worked hard for it.

No, no you really wouldn't because if you did you'd be labeled a fool. The best thing you can do to help improve poverty is invest in things such as the Universal Basic Income like Mr Zuckerberg is doing, or/and open up job opportunities. If I became a billionaire in the next 24 hours the first thing I'd look to invest in would be golf courses.

I'd buy as many of those lands around the world that the people are willing to sell then turn them into residential communities filled with affordable housing/apartments, and open up some businesses to create job opportunities for the people living there. Restaurants, convenient stores, a police station, fire station, bars, gaming stores, Libraries, a Bank, etc. Basically everything that's needed for people to be able to live comfortably. Get other rich friends to help so that you don't run out then you have something that can help the world and yourself.

Other people's money IS our business when it's at that level. Billionaires can directly affect our lives (affecting policy/lobbying/political contributions/jobs), and a majority of the time it's not in a positive manner. A majority of the time it's to put more money in their pockets and less in ours - there is a limited supply of this stuff, and they have a vast majority of it.

"(Go ahead and claim your generous charity contributions for starving kids in Africa, we both know you would probably be lying and even if not > you could always give MORE, yet you do not - so why should Bill?)."

Because doing so would actually negatively affect our lives? We don't have literally billions of dollars to spare, like Bill Gates does? Most people barely get by each month, and literally cannot afford it. Donating billions has no impact on Bill Gates' livelihood. Your comparison is absolutely ludicrous.

That's some interesting mental gymnastics I gotta say.
It does not matter what you say, his money is his business - not yours.
Instead of wasting time and money here,, go be a good human being so your social media feed looks shiny and righteous to all the other NPCs who think socialism is the best thing since sandwiches.

I just read that stupid line of yours now so I need to address it real quick:
"Having more than you need is greed!"

And how much do we need?
Who is *we*?
And why can *you* speak for anyone else?
Do I need just as much as some farmer in Vietnam?
And how do we decide what is *needed*?
Because we perhaps do not need a plethora of things, yet we have and want them.
Is this wrong?
Because you say so?
Or rather because someone you believe is some divine know-it-all wrote it in a book you like to be different from others?
Are you smarter than anyone else, or do you for some reason have the right to tell other people what to do and even what they need?
What if I will tell you what you *really* need?
If I *need* 2 SUVs, that's that. You have no say in that.

Grow. Up.
