RC deserves more!!

Is anyone else astounded that Ronald Colman has not recieved more attention than he has? Enough about Marilyn and Elvis! Show the movies of the REAL actors. Ronald Colman's movies should be played more. I especially loved this one of his. He is so intense and passionate in every move he makes. You really feel this man is going crazy. A wonderful movie

Undoubtedly a great Ronald Colman performance. And a great film. But Ronald Colman's tortured character made me feel uncomfortable. I do actually prefer him in the comic 'Champagne for Caesar.' The film proved that he could really do comedy well. In it he is out to gain vengeance on his former employer Vincent Price. I really enjoy those two in the same film.

Yes. I'm always up in time to catch the BBC2 vintage film slot on Saturday mornings. 'A Double Life' is my favourite that they have shown lately.

Watched the vintages too, but on a recorded basis, too early for me lol

Well he got an Oscar for this film so he did get justly recognised.
