Can anyone recommend any movies as good as this and Rosemary's Baby?

Anyone know of any 60s / 70s movies in a similar vein, or just as good and watchable as these two? Not necessarily in the same 'horror' or thriller genre, just good movies of the same era.

The Parallax View

From the 80's, similar in genre to Rosemary's Baby but not quite on par, is the Believers. A very watchable horror/suspense film.

Invasion of the body snatchers (1978)
Coma (1978)

In this genre, "Sisters", and "Carrie". There are likely more but i'm watching Stepford Wives on TCM now....

in terms of "SW" it's a variation on a theme but done the Ira Levin way-innovatively!

"Coma" is great! A full-on freak out. Does for going into hospitals what "Jaws" did for going into the water.

The Boys From Brazil, 1970s, novel by Ira Levin, w/Gregory Peck, Laurence Olivier

A Kiss Before Dying, 1956, novel by Ira Levin, w/Robert Wagner, Joanne Woodward.

Also agree with The Mephisto Waltz, Play Misty For Me (first film Clint Eastwood directed) mentioned above.

Pretty Maids All In A Row (1971), director Roger Vadim w/Rock Hudson, Angie Dickinson
