Mr. Miyagay's conned winnings

So Miyagay cons Sato out of $1,200 by having Whinielle stall his break attempt of the 6 sheets of ice until they were sufficiently melted.

The problem is, before he lets Whinielle TOUCH the $1,800 for his college he intends to dip into it by getting chinese food.

What a dick move right?

I mean I presume Miyagay and Kumiko had some sort of plans to eat that day which didn't involve making an extra $1,200 off a $600 bet right??

Were they really counting on the $1,200 to buy dinner that day?

And is it possible that Miyagay went overboard and splurged on the chinese food?

He has a total of $1,200 to give Whinielle (I'm assuming the bastard keeps his original $600 he bet for himself).

Now assuming he splurges and actually decides to purchase dinner (which he apparently wasn't planning on without an extra 1.2K to blow) he's going to have to buy food for himself, Kumiko, Whinielle, and that old bag he banged way back before he skipped town.

So $1,200 divided by 4 is just $300 per person and that won't go far plus we have to count morbidly obese Whinielle as 2 people so it's really just $240 per person... with multiple drinks appetizers, entres and desserts for 5 people PLUS gratuity that's gonna take a HUGE chunk of money from Whinielle's college!!

So I figure after this meal Miyagay has like $200 left to give to Whinielle. I'm sure it would be a great meal while they're eating it, but once they digest it and Whinielle is sitting on the toilet with the dreadful realization that he just shat out his college education and future I'm sure he'd commit suicide.

Thoughts?

I think you have thought way too much about it.
He gave up his college fund for the crap shack in the end anyways

But can you imagine Whinielle Miyagay Kumiko and the Old Bag eating the dinner in a tense silence because they all know that they went overboard on ordering and this meal is coming at the direct expense of Whinielle's college education?

The air would be so thick you could cut it with a knife.

No, I can’t imagine seeing as I didn’t imagine it in the first place

In the scene Mr. Miyagi gives Daniel his share right there when Daniel asks him what they're going to get with the money. It's impossible to tell from the scene how much exactly Miyagi gives Daniel but it looks to be about half which seems fair considering Miyagi was the one who risked all the money.

Mr. Miyagi: "you get college tuition, (hands Daniel a stack of bills) we get Chinese food, come."

reply

I think you ought to tell that to cruising, not me.
Unless of course you are ignoring him.

It takes a lot nerve to show your face around here after getting other people’s threads deleted. You’ve destroyed the spirit of the board with your political correctness taken to the extreme.

Say what?

The ‘Send Miyagi Back’ thread was deleted by admin. You are the chief suspect. I don’t think even WA has ever stooped so low as to report a Kai member.

reply

lol I didn't report that thread but can't say I'm sorry it's gone. Speaking of suspects, I suspect you and cruisin of being the same person and having weird Norman Bates/Mother conversations with yourself.

NRC123... just ignore riffraff like SamGerard.

It isn't take a worm for a walk week.

I’m gonna get him for what he did to you. He made you suffer. So I’m going to make him suffer, and suffer, and suffer.

Given his awful decision making, it’s hard to accept Daniel as a successful car salesman later in life in Cobra Kai. The show seems like a parallel universe where Parts II and III never happened.

reply

I want him to experience pain.

This is a karate dojo. Not a knitting class. You’d be better off on the Girls or Inside Amy Schumer boards.

Most likely the amount he gave Daniel back was the money Daniel spent on the Okinawa trip. The rest was just satisfaction of winning over Sato. He may have even given some to Yukio for the maintenance on the house. (minus a few bucks for Chinese food, of course.)
