Problem Child vs Home Alone which is better?

I can't believe nobody made this comparison. Both are some what similar, came out in 1990 and one is forgotten (Problem Child) while the other (Home Alone) is ingrained in public conciseness. Nobody ever remembers Michael Oliver whereas Macaulay Culkin is still muched talked about. I think Home Alone is by far the superior one here

My Voting history is secret;)

I like Problem child slightly more. Home Alone is too holiday-centered. I feel like I can only really be interested in it during the Xmas season. Plus, as someone else noted, HA is too child-centered...whereas PC has a broader perceptive, in that you can put yourself in either Junior or Ben's shoes, which balances the movie a little more. HA deserves its iconic status, because it is a good movie (and from a production standpoint is better made, as someone pointed out.) But it has always sort of irked me that it came along on the heels of PC and basically upstaged it into near obscurity.

Kramer as the Bowtie Killer is really really awesome but just not as awesome as the wet bandits

Problem Child was a chore to make it through to the finish.

When I comes to the first movies I like Home Alone better than Problem Child but I favor Problem Child 2 over Home Alone 2. Problem Child 2 is insane from start to finish.
