i think this one freddy's dead:the final nightmare was the most stupidest nightmare movie of all the nightmare on elm street movies this,freddy vs jason, as well as the a nightmare on elm street remake was the most dumbest nightmare movies i just hated those 3.my favorites was nightmare 3,4,& 7!what do you guys think.

I agree completely that Freddy's Dead is the worst of the series; somebody else in the thread mentioned that it came off like a parody of the Nightmare movies, and I think that's an astute observation. However weak the story and acting may have been in The Dream Child, it had moments of inspired direction, great special effects, and some really creative setpieces. Freddy's Dead, on the other hand, has a weaker story, weaker performances, and takes the silly humor to inexcusable heights. This movie simply should not exist.
I'd buy that for a dollar!

I thought Dream Child was the weakest. This one was actually really good imo. More enjoyable and entertaining than part 5 for sure.

I'm shocked that barely anyone has said part 2 is the worst, I would pick part 5 over part 2 any day. It's hard to compare FD to part 2 because they are almost completely different movies.
