Milo is one of the coolest villians ever.

He's right up there with Hans Gruber in my opinion. The way he played that character was just perfect for the movie. Ruthless, effeminate, and completely over the top.

"What would you do is someone told you to go *beep* yourself Joseph?"

BECAUSE HIS DICK WAS STUCK IN THE CHICKEN!!!!! AH-HAHAHAHA-HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

"Good afternoon officer, I have spare bullets in my gun, would you please accept them?!" *BLAM*

reply

Actually, the quote is, "Yes, officer. As a matter of fact there is a problem. Apparently there are too many bullets in this gun."

reply

He's not really in the Hans Gruber vein, more like the glorified heavy a la Mr. Joshua

reply

My favorite Milo quote is this one:''Hey, *beep*

The way he says it is just too damn awesome.

hey motherfucker

One of my all time favourite movie bad guys.

We got a new dog last year and we named him Milo in honour of Taylor Negron (who sadly passed away a few months prior).

Milo goes in my category of near great heels. There's just something not entirely upper echelon about him and I'm not sure what it is. Maybe it was all the script changes that watered the character down from being a total sick psycho and into more of a routine lackey bad guy?

reply

Milo is more entertaining and intimidating in his few moments of screen time than any of the forgettable, bland, limp villains in Die Hards 4 & 5. Where has the quality and charm gone from action thrillers?

reply

Nice to see I'm not the only one who appreciated Taylor Negron's immortal turn as Milo in "The Last Boy Scout." This movie had quite the cast -- Bruce Willis, Damon Wayans, Halle Berry -- and Mr. Negron stole the movie right out from under all of them.

reply

He did a good job, but something was missing.

I think he detracted from Berry, Willis, et al. because they all over-acted. I think he played it as a cool, nasty guy.

Similar vein to Gruber, but not nearly the class and charisma. Nothing against Mr. Negron. I think he did a lot with what he was given.

Grain of salt: I really disliked this movie.

reply

In the original draft of the screen play, he was even WORSE, he killed women in snuff films.

reply

well that seems uncalled for

reply

He was pretty smart. He seemed to orchestrate a lot, was one step ahead of everybody at all times, and the movie didn't just rely on him being odd looking eccentric, which I appreciated.
