I've been watching it on CBS lately. It's really growing on me. I think you could make the argument that it has the highest proportion of likeable characters out of all the Star Treks.

I didn't get into the show back in the day, but I am enjoying it a lot on Prime. Quark is becoming a favorite as is the Cardassian tailor/spy. I still don't like O'Brien and his wife.

A lot of people didn't start to like the show until later seasons when the dominion war happened

I missed it when it first aired, and I'm watching it these days on Netflix.
I have to say I'm enjoying DS9 more as an adult than I did TNG as a teenager.

I think it's the best of all the ST series. The acting, the characters and their development, and the stories, are all top-notch.
